I have owned a Primera Bravo II for approx 4 years. It is an impressive piece of technology. Although, after printing approx 172 labels (this data is actually tracked by the Bravo II printer) my print-head failed. After contacting Primera Tech support for assistance (they were very timely and supportive) it was determined that the unit needed servicing (the unit was out of warranty at this time). After diagnosing the unit and repairing the problem, I was provided a repair cost. The repair plus shipping would have been approx $330. What makes this review ending so great is that, Primera opted to replace the parts without cost (since the problem was cause by a faulty part that had been updated on newer models I only paid Labor & Shipping costs). Although the unit was out of warranty, they were within their rights to charge me the full repair cost. So, I would encourage anyone looking for a product that will actually do what the manufacturer says it will do, (and a company that will go the extra mile to make good on their product promises if it doesn't) purchase the Bravo II. I give Primera an excellent rating for the Bravo II product, their service and especially customer support.

 "Good Product, Bad Support" 2009-03-26

The Bravo II is an excellent burner and printer but they've been promising for 2 years now that 64 bit drivers will be out soon, most bravo owners are sure they mean never at this point but aren't willing to give up sales.

"This Doesn't BURN CDs or DVDs!" 2009-03-03
By RickR (Columbia, SC)
Okay, that's probably obvious to most people looking at getting this printer, but apparently not everyone, as at least 4 or so reviews on it mention burning CDs. I guess I read what I wanted to hear, because I really thought this was the CD/DVD Publishing System, which prints AND burns CDs and DVDs. It's not. It only prints.

So after receiving the unit I ordered from Amazon, and reading the manual, being /shocked/ it didn't burn, I returned it (not problem at all there - one reason I love Amazon). I guess I should have known that at this price, you don't get the publishing system that burns. But between several incorrect reviews (they must have bought the publishing system somewhere else), and the wildly inflating List Price, I just thought I was getting a good deal. As usual, you get what you pay for. I didn't pay for the publishing system, so I didn't get it! ;-)

I then turned around and bought what I actually wanted, the Bravo II Disc Publishing System. Cost over $500 more, but it's what I want. Amazon's price was very competitive for this, but right now Primera is giving a free second year service, and I didn't see that that was included with the Amazon purchase.

Anyhow, great system, so far. Prints very nice CDs, as good a quality as I've seen, even on the 20 cent hub-printable CDs I use. If I go for the glossy Hydrashield ones, they're amazon, but about triple the price. Oh, and it burns great, too. NOT this one: the other one I got that has CD printing. This one's just a printer. Don't make the mistake I did. ;-)

PS: I had to give it a rating, so gave it 4 stars for printing only.

 "Awesome Printer" 2008-10-27
By Tom L. Stevens (Houston, Texas)
This has been an amazing product over the past couple of months. I purchased this Autoprinter for a new business that will print and duplicate about 100-200 cd's per month, and this fits the bill! It is more convenient, allows me to try out more designs, and lets me spend less money (because I don't have to get 1000 of them printed by some bigger company).

The print quality is amazing, but keep in mind one thing. I use the hydroshield CD's that are smudge proof, not just any ordinary CD, so I don't know how a regular CD will turn out.

The only negative would be the ink, a common complaint I am sure. The inital ink pack was used up in just over 100 CD's but I got a mega ink pack to replace it that should last much longer. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a professional looking CD on an affordable printer.

"Time-Saving, Good Looking & Cheap CD Labels From Bravo II" 2008-08-30
By Grant A. Johnson (Boulder, CO USA)
Primera Bravo II AutoPrinter 62715 All-in-One CD/DVD Printing SystemIn the month I have owned it, this ingenious machine has produced 480 labelled CDs without a glitch and without using up an ink cartridge (despite printing titles & detailed track listings). Its automation lets me eat, read and do other work while it prints. (Or if you have nothing else to do with your time, just watching it perform is fun, especially if you enjoy Rube Goldberg.) Blank printable media are less than half the price of those needed for LiteScribe, and the results are more pleasing. On-screen instructions are not 100% self explanatory (at least for me), so allow time on day-one for trial and error learning. (You don't need to waste any discs for this, because what you see on the screen is exactly what you get.) This is a fine machine and worth the steep price.
