This DVD+R drive never worked from day one. It only recognized the install disk. All other disks were considered cd's. Once I managed to get 1.7 gb onto a disk by trickery, most would max out at 225mb. What a rip off. I bough thi to use make a backup for a XP machine, should have just used the 17 cd's it wanted to use the internal drive. THe software never installed right leaving a fragmented mess on the HD which I had to to remove. What a waste.... I have loved my LG phones but this drive was horrible. Now it makes a horrible noise and doesn't do any data at all. I will return it and choose a different unit.
