Easy install. Will need to have web access to download driver updates due to enclosed CD a little outdated. Flawless recording using four different brand CD's, including the Double Layer type.
Haven't used LightScribe: Can't comment on it.

The product installed and loaded very easily. The burner was making my DVD within an hour of installation into the box. The software is complete and I was already familiar with Nero. It came with another software package which works very well also. How can they make such a quiet, fast and refined product for this price??? Incredible. Thanks Western.

Not only does this drive play and record DVD's, but CD's also. You can't go wrong for the price. Great software too!

This is a great dvd burner, it handles every type of dvd format and has light scribe included. However you must have the software yourself since it doesnt come with it. All in all a great dvd burner.
