I've had it for over a month now and I'm very pleased with this purchase. Everything works perfectly (though I haven't burned DVD-R discs nor used the LightScribe). I only had to install it and my WinXP PC recognized it easily. The price is great (got it on sale at Amazon). Fits perfectly in my tower and the size was even shorter than my the old DVD burner it replaced (giving more room for all the wiring in the back!). It has read everything I've throw at it so far and burns faster without any e......
It is a very good product but, the only thing that I found was that I needed screw to instal my writer but it was not in my package!

picked up the LG for my wife because the other model we had was noisy and slow. This LG model works great; runs quiet and fast. We don't do a lot of backup but this works great for our needs - highly recommend.
